David Jackson Vice President, Product Development TRX, Inc.
In 2008, David Jackson was promoted to Vice President, Product Development, and he is now in charge of product development for all TRX client facing products. Key objectives for this role are to create a consistent process by which products are developed and deployed as well as continued integration of the TRX suite of products. David joined TRX in 2000 as a Senior Software Engineer and quickly moved into a management position on the product development team. In 2002, he joined the online booking tools division and managed the development of our RESX products. In this role, David managed the creation of our Agent Desktop platform, in which he was awarded the TRX XCELLER of the Year for 2003. In 2004, he was promoted to Director of Product Development, overseeing the entire suite of online booking products. Before joining TRX, David held a variety of positions as a Programmer and Data Analyst and is Co-founder of J2DataSystems. David holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics with emphasis in Statistics from Southern Oregon University. David and his team are partners with the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University, an organization dedicated to the improvement and standardization of software development best practices.
