David Cathcart is Chief Financial Officer of TRX. In September 2004, David joined TRX as Controller and was promoted in July 2005 to Vice President, Finance and Controller. He leads TRX's finance, investor relations and administration functions. Before joining TRX, David served as a Divisional Controller at General Electric (GE) where he drove controllership initiatives in a $4 billion business spanning 108 locations in 54 countries. Prior to GE, he was Assistant Corporate Controller at Mirant Corporation in Atlanta, responsible for SEC, accounting policy and compliance. David began his career at Arthur Andersen, where he held progressive management positions auditing and advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and public financing, primarily in the airline, credit card processing and energy sectors.
