The State of West Virginia Signs Five-Year Deal with TRX for Integrated Booking and Expense Management Services
Industry Partners TRX and DATABASICS Team Up To Provide End-to-End Booking and Expense Management
ATLANTA, 25 August 2009 — TRX, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRXI), a global leader in travel technology and data services and DATABASICS, provider of the market’s most comprehensive travel expense reporting solution, today announced that the State of West Virginia has signed a five year agreement to use TRX’s RESX Online Booking solution featuring a seamless integration with DATABASIC’s ExpenSite expense reporting service as its travel and expense management solution. Beginning in September, TRX will support the State of West Virginia’s travel program that represents more than 40,000 travelers state-wide. Under the agreement, TRX and DATABASICS will provide an integrated travel and expense reporting solution that will offer a seamless user experience from pre-trip authorization and travel booking to expense reporting, receipt management and analytics in a single, secure environment. The solution will enable the State of West Virginia to move from a paper and labor intensive process to an automated, more environmentally friendly process that will reduce costs and increase policy compliance. “We are looking forward to working with TRX and DATABASICS to provide the State of West Virginia travelers with the most efficient and effective travel experience possible,” said Glen B.
