| TRX ACCELERATES DEVELOPMENT AND NEW FEATURE RELEASE CYCLES FOR RESX; ENHANCES CUSTOMER FEEDBACK PROCESS |

ATLANTA, 25 MARCH 2010 — TRX, Inc. (www.trx.com) (NASDAQ: TRXI), a world-leading provider of travel technology, process automation, consulting and data services, today announces early results of new feature development acceleration plans for RESX. RESX is a leading online booking tool allowing corporate travelers to create policy-compliant and on-budget travel reservations via a hosted web interface and integrated expense management services delivered seamlessly through optional integration with a TRX Expense Partner Network provider. Year-to-date, TRX has released three major product releases for the RESX solution, each greatly enhancing the usability and features targeted toward end-users. In February, key improvements to the direct connect integrations of Air Canada’s ac2u direct connect interface and our other direct connect carrier interfaces via Booking Builder were released in RESX v9.4. These improvements enhanced users’ abilities to shop and book premium content and expand middle and back-office tracking and reporting capabilities associated with direct connect reservations. RESX v9.5 provided users with enhanced hotel shopping capabilities through implementing a quick view of hotel-offered amenities to aid in the hotel selection process. Now users are presented descriptive icons representing up to ten hotel amenities including on-site restaurant, fitness center, room service, business center, internet, and non-smoking room options during the booking process to aide hotel selection. The latest release, RESX v9.6, improved air search capabilities allowing users to reduce the time required to make air reservations. In addition, trip approval tracking was enhanced through adding approval history to PNRs, greatly improving the approval audit trail for travel managers. “Leveraging test and automation solutions, and software development practices like Team Software Process (TSP), has enabled our development teams to accelerate the new feature development process through each stage of the feature development life cycle,” said David Jackson, Vice President, Product Development, TRX. “Bringing new features to market faster improves the value we deliver to our clients which include several fortune 1000 companies leveraging our services through our 300-agency strong reseller network.” In 2009, TRX launched a new voting process to gather direct feedback from clients to help shape the new feature development process for RESX. The new process places clients and key user groups into strategic participation tiers. The tiered approach has been established to ensure the needs of small, medium, and large corporations and agencies are addressed. Each month the participating user groups receive direct status reports which include feature status, design previews, and stakeholder sign-off schedules. In addition, this group receives advance access to new features during beta release cycles. “I applaud TRX for taking this bold move at a time when the other booking providers seem to be going in the exact opposite direction,” said John Crawford, President, Total Travel Consulting. “This new program gives me direct input into their development process and increases the value I get from TRX as a partner.” “Our RESX team has fully embraced the approach and has instituted a customer voting process which includes both corporate direct and TMC partners,” said Shane Hammond, President and CEO, TRX. “TRX values all opportunities to partner with our customers to solve their issues.” |
